Your new role as a Hurstville Private Hospital Specialist Practice – 2IC Team Leader

You will be working within our Cardiology Specialist Practice where you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the practice. In addition, in your role as a 2IC, you will showcase your managerial skillset and report on practice KPI’s to the hospital Executive.

Essential Criteria

• Degree in Health Management or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a health care setting with same employer
• Exceptional collaborative Interpersonal, leadership and well-developed verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal customer service
• A thorough working knowledge of banking procedures/EFTPOS/Accounts/billing
• Commitment to Professional Development and a structured learning program

Desirable

• Understanding of Hospital billings
• Previous experience with Healthtrack
• Knowledge of MBS item numbers
• Understanding of Cardiology Services
