Hurstville Private is a 157 bed Healthe Care Australia private hospital with 7 operating theatres, 2 Catheter Laboratories, a renowned Maternity Unit and Level 2 Intensive Care (ICU) and Coronary Care Units (CCU). About the Role: An opportunity is available for highly motivated and suitably qualified Nurses to be part of our Cath Lab team. You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced team providing procedures including diagnostic and interventional coronary angiography, PCI, Electrophysiology, pacemaker and defibrillator device implantation, and structural heart. The successful candidate will be required to deliver high quality patient care and provide support and education to patients and their families.

Essential Criteria

· Current registration with AHPRA

· Minimum of 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse

· Willingness to develop clinical skills in the area of Cardiology

· Willingness to cross train in different CCL procedures & roles: Scrub, Scout, haemodynamic monitoring and Recovery.

· Strong focus and commitment to quality patient care

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Exceptional customer service and time management skills

· Knowledge of Quality/Continuous Improvement process

· Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and within a team environment

· Demonstrated computer literacy

· Ability to participate in on-call roster

· Current ALS certificate or willingness to undertake

· Up to date Immunisations as a health care worker (including influenza vaccinations)

Desirable Criteria

· Previous Cardiac Catheter Lab, Critical Care, or Anaesthetic nursing experience desirable
