The role
Due to growth, an exciting opportunity exists for experienced and motivated Registered Nurses and Endorsed Enrolled Nurses to join our Critical Care teams.
Our Coronary Care Unit (CCU) is a 16-bed critical care area, with advanced monitoring equipment and facilities to manage patients with cardiac conditions, those that have undergone cardiac interventional treatment and those who have had recent Cardiothoracic surgery.
Our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a modern, 12-bed facility equipped with advanced monitoring systems and interventional capabilities, enabling the delivery of high-acuity, evidence-based care to critically ill patients. The unit consistently supports a broad range of complex clinical interventions such as invasive mechanical ventilation, renal replacement therapy and temporary cardiac pacing management.
Lingard is a flexible workplace and can offer positions on a full-time, part-time, or casual basis.

Essential Criteria
Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency
Minimum 2 years in clinical acute experience
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Customer oriented and well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal
Demonstrated ability to problem solve and work well under pressure
Demonstrated commitment to professional development
A commitment to customer service and quality improvement
Desirable criteria
Post Graduate qualification in Coronary Care/ Intensive Care nursing or working towards
Experience in Cardiothoracic ICU nursing, renal replacement therapy and mechanical ventilation
Experience in step-down cardiothoracic nursing
Experience in Interventional Cardiology
