Job Family Summary
Develops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products. Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.

A highly skilled engineer developing additional professional expertise to apply company policies & procedures to resolve a variety of issues through effective communication, knowledge and experience inside and outside the department. Influences the decisions of others. Mentors new Engineers. Collaboratively works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Builds productive internal/external working relationships. Independently drives routine work. Executes new projects or assignments with general instruction.
Roles & Responsibilities
- May be engaged in hiring, training, coaching and development of employees to maximize performance, promote career growth and support a high-performing team.
- Accomplishes operational and/or functional objectives that enable the successful execution of department goals; tracks, monitors and reports on KPIs and action plans.
- May manage to (or have understanding of) project budgets, the overall department annual budget and rolling forecast, ensuring business unit meets and/or exceeds key measures such as revenue, gross margin, capital expenditures and other financial & operational commitments.
- Completes engineering activities and tasks for a specific architecture or technology.
- Supports new product development including design, analysis, and testing.
- Communicates with internal key stakeholders to understand technical requirements.
- Completes technical tasks and deliverables within set timeline.
- Authors technical documentation and follows standardized processes and procedures.
- Qualification:
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:5 to 9years
Job Description:
. Proven experience as a PCBA Manufacturing Engineer, with a focus on DFA, DFX, and DFM.
• Good knowledge IPC Standard •
In-depth knowledge of contract manufacturing practices (PCBA Assembly) and the electronics manufacturing industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to PCBA manufacturing
