The role involves supporting the testing of new (embedded microcontroller-based) product firmware and hardware, and the sustaining/test support for existing product firmware/hardware releases.

Please note that due to the nature of the role, this is an on-site position that requires an everyday office presence.

Duties

  • Embedded FW Function Level Verification.

  • Product/Device Level Verification.

  • Design and execution of test plans, test cases, and test case reports based on product specifications, industry standards, and requirements.

  • Support and improvement of production software and functional testing.

  • Execution of product validation tasks, using in-house and industry processes and tools.

  • Understanding of various types of tests, such as component level, integration, production, regression, white box, and black box.

  • Continue test process improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Software Test/Software QA role.

  • Good understanding of electrical (analog/digital) circuit elements, parameters, and wiring

  • Exposure or knowledge of industry methodologies and test execution and test automation tools such as ADS, DevOps, GIT, Jenkins, Agile.

  • Knowledge/experience of operating lab equipment (Eg: oscilloscopes, power supplies, safety test equipment etc)

Desirable

  • Industrial IOT Experience - Design, Verification, and Test

  • C#.NET for Windows-based Test Environment, Configuration Tools, Production Testers, and Production DLL

  • Experience working with DALI-2 Protocol/Devices.

Interpersonal skills

  • Ability to write and converse clearly, concisely, and confidently on test reports, technical problems, solutions, and workarounds;

  • Demonstrable team working and communication skills

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines while demonstrating a track record for innovation and creativity

  • Quick learner with a proactive self-starter work attitude.
