The global total rewards organization at Itron is looking for a new EMEA & APAC benefits analyst. You will collaborate across all departments in 20+ countries.

Analyst Total Reward EMEA & APAC
The role
The role directly reports to the Benefits Global Director.
You provide insights and recommendations on market best practices and improve our capacity to attract and retain employees, in compliance with local laws and regulations and collaborate with others to facilitate a positive employee experience in the delivery and communication of benefit programs
Review, support, and administer benefit programs and day-to-day operations, including, but not limited to, health, life, disability, retirement, wellness, and EAP.
Lead annual benefit renewal cycles with Itron’s broker, as well as Global Benefits and local HR teams in the regions.
Support global and regional benefit initiatives and rollouts, including leading major projects
Participate in vendor selection and implementation projects.
Provides governance support on retirement programs. Acts as project leader for periodic reviews of retirement plan design.
Advise and counsel employees and managers on benefit policies, programs, and procedures, and issue resolution.
Coordinate and participate in market surveys and provide analysis of benefit surveys to identify trends and areas of improvement.
Develop ad hoc reports that analyze corporate benefits plans and make recommendations based on data.
Work with HR Managers globally to ensure corporate benefits philosophy is maintained.
Act as liaison with local HR managers for collective bargaining agreements related to benefits.
Maintain documentation and audit trails for internal and external reviews
Ensure benefit programs comply with local labor laws and regulations and partner with Legal as necessary.
Collaborate with Taxation department to ensure proper tax treatment of benefit plans.
Collaborate with Accounting & Finance to set and monitor fringe benefit budgets in each country
Collaborate with Procurement in the setup and renewal benefit vendor contracts.
Partner with HRIS in the use of Workday and other systems to be the functional lead for the delivery of benefit and absence management plans within Workday.
Your profile
At least 5 years of benefits experience, in an international context.
Experience in leading and deploying benefits programs/projects.
You have experience working with Workday HRIS.
Despite a wide knowledge base across all European and APAC countries, a specific focus on France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, India is a plus.
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills completed with advanced use and passion for Excel (pivot, functions).
Self-learner with strong ability to work independently, to prioritize and to create own opportunities.
Excellent communication and presentations skills with ability to collaborate efficiently remotely and in a multicultural context.
Fluent level of English and additional languages is preferred.
As a trusted advisor, you have the demonstrated ability to maintain absolute confidentiality and discretion.
Education: Bachelor/Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Economics.
