Senior Backend Engineer - NodeJS (SDE 3)

The Role
We are looking for seasoned NodeJS engineers to join our growing team at GajiGesa ( Kredivo Group). More than anything, we are looking for engineers who are eager to learn and want to build something meaningful. As part of a small, high-impact team, you’ll have the chance to wear multiple hats, contribute across the stack, and shape the engineering culture alongside our founders, product managers, designers, and senior tech leaders.
You’ll be building products that redefine how daily wage workers access and manage their earnings—driving real-world impact at scale.

Desired Experience | Skills
We’re looking for engineers who are:
● Passionate about JavaScript/TypeScript and love working with the NodeJS ecosystem (especially NestJS).
● Experienced in PostgreSQL with the ability to write and optimize raw SQL queries.
● Familiar with Kafka, Redis, and working with Docker containers.
● Comfortable deploying and managing services on AWS (SQS, SES, MSK, RDS, S3, Lambda, etc.).
● Excited to learn and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and tools.
● Able to grasp and reason through complex systems and data flows.
● Enthusiastic about solving tough bugs and improving system resilience.
Bonus Points For:
● Exposure to Retool or other low-code/internal tooling platforms.
● Basic proficiency in Python scripting.
● Familiarity with GitHub Actions, JIRA, secret management, or Datadog (or similar observability tools).
