Fraud Analytics Lead is responsible for leading fraud analytics initiatives to monitor, detect, prevent, and mitigate fraud risks across the company’s products and end-user lifecycle. This role will translate fraud patterns, transaction behavior, portfolio signals, and operational findings into actionable fraud strategies, rules, monitoring, and risk controls. The role reports to the Head of Fraud and will work closely with Fraud Operations, Risk, Product, Data Science, Engineering, Information Security and Business teams to ensure fraud risk is managed effectively while supporting business growth and end-user experience.

About the job:

  • Lead the development and execution of fraud analytics strategies across onboarding, transaction monitoring, account activity, merchant activity, and other relevant customer journeys.
  • Analyze fraud trends, suspicious patterns, and portfolio behavior to identify risks and recommend preventive actions.
  • Develop, review, and optimize fraud rules, thresholds, segmentation logic, and monitoring parameters.
  • Build, maintain and monitor fraud dashboards, early warning indicators, fraud risk metrics, and regular management reporting.
  • Work closely with Fraud Operations to convert investigation findings into scalable fraud detection rules and preventive controls.
  • Partner with other teams to implement and improve prevention, detection, monitoring and implementation
  • Provide analytical support for new product launches, new channels, process changes, and business initiatives from a fraud risk perspective.
  • Lead and mentor fraud analysts, ensuring strong analytical quality, structured problem solving, and timely delivery.

About you:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in fraud analytics/risk analytics/data analytics in fintech/digital lending/digital banking/e-commerce.
  • Experience in anti-fraud for digital banking and/or financial technology companies will be a significant plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years leading analytics team.
  • Advance knowledge in SQL and data analytics is required.
  • Strong understanding of fraud risk management across digital financial products, including identity fraud, account takeover, transaction fraud, merchant fraud, collusion, abuse patterns, and social engineering-related fraud.
  • Conversational ability in English is required.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into practical fraud strategies and business recommendations.
  • High ownership, structured thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
