We are looking for a Junior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (SDE 1) to join our Infrastructure team. This is an entry-to-junior level role perfect for someone passionate about automation, cloud technology, and "infrastructure as code."

You will work closely with senior mentors to learn how to manage large-scale cloud environments. Your primary goal will be to handle routine infrastructure tasks, assist in deployments, and help maintain our monitoring systems while growing your technical expertise.

About the job:

  • Task Execution: Execute routine infrastructure tasks such as user access management (IAM), environment setup, and resource tagging, etc
  • Support: Assist in the deployment of application updates and infrastructure changes under the supervision of senior engineers.
  • Monitoring: Help monitor system health dashboards and escalate alerts to the appropriate teams when anomalies occur.
  • Learning & Documentation: Actively learn Kredivo’s infrastructure stack and contribute to internal "how-to" documentation and runbooks.
  • Automation Support: Assist in writing simple scripts (Python/Bash) or basic Terraform modules to automate repetitive tasks.

About you:

  • Experience: 1 – 2 years of experience. We welcome fresh graduates with strong internship experience in DevOps or Cloud roles.
  • Foundational Knowledge: Solid understanding of Linux/Unix commands, networking basics (IP addresses, Ports, HTTP/S), and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Cloud Curiosity: Basic familiarity with at least one cloud provider (AWS or GCP). You should know what an EC2 instance or an S3 bucket is.
  • Scripting: Ability to write basic scripts in Python or Bash to solve simple problems.
  • Container Basics: Conceptual understanding of Docker (e.g., knows how to build a basic Dockerfile).
  • Tools: Exposure to (or a strong desire to learn) Git, Terraform, and CI/CD concepts.
  • Soft Skills: High "coachability," strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate technical issues clearly.
