We're looking for an AML/CFT Senior Specialist to support and strengthen our AML, CFT, and CPF program, including policies and procedures, due diligence processes, transaction monitoring, and regulatory reporting. This role works closely with internal stakeholders as well as regulators and auditors to ensure our controls remain effective and aligned with applicable requirements.
About The Job :
- Define, implement, review, and update policies and procedures related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorism Financing (CFT), and Counter-Proliferation Financing of Weapons of Mass Destruction (CPF), in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Develop, review, and continuously improve due diligence processes for users and partners to ensure compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) requirements.
- Monitor and analyze business processes, user profiles, and transaction data to identify unusual or suspicious activities and support appropriate escalation, investigation, and reporting.
- Perform basic data processing and analysis using relevant tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel or similar tools) to support regulatory reporting, AML/CFT monitoring, management reporting, and ad-hoc analysis.
- Prepare clear and structured reports, data presentations, and analytical materials to communicate AML/CFT findings, trends, risks, and recommendations to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Act as a subject matter resource by providing guidance, knowledge, and recommendations on AML/CFT matters to relevant internal stakeholders.
- Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including regulators and external auditors, in relation to AML/CFT compliance, regulatory reporting, examinations, and audit processes.
- Coordinate and support regulatory examinations and external/internal audits, including preparing required data and supporting documents, presenting and explaining relevant processes and controls, responding to inquiries, and following up on findings or recommendations.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of AML/CFT systems, controls, monitoring parameters, and reporting processes.
About You :
- Bachelor's Degree in any fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an AML or risk management or compliance role, within the banking or financial services industry.
- Sound knowledge of OJK and PPATK regulations and reporting requirements regarding AML, CFT, and PPPSPM.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail and the ability to identify risks and translate data into meaningful insights.
- Good communication, both in Indonesian and English, and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in basic data processing and analysis, particularly using Microsoft Excel (e.g., PivotTables, lookup functions, data reconciliation, and basic data analysis). Working knowledge of SQL or other data analytics tools is an advantage.
- Relevant certifications or training in risk management and AML are preferred.
