The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Protection Officer - Signal Team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team driving the future of Adelaide’s rail network.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform track protection duties in line with the relevant Codes of Practice and Rule Book on the Adelaide Metro Passenger Rail Network (AMPRN) for internal works, third party works and ARTC.
- Perform your duties both autonomously and also as part of a team as required
- Plan out jobs and complete accurate paperwork according to procedures
- Manage competing priorities, develop collaborative relationships and communicate at all levels of an organisation
About You
We are looking for someone who brings:
- Track protection qualifications and prior experience as a Track Protection Officer is essential to be considered for this role
- You will be passionate about safety and ensuring the safety of your colleagues and all workers
- Certificate 3 in Transport Logistics (rail Infrastructure) or significant experience in a rail maintenance environment
- Current Drivers Licence, Class MR Licence is desirable
- Highly developed problem solving skills
- Extensive experience in working under broad guidelines
- Must be able to obtain Category 1 Safety Critical Rail Worker health assessment
