ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently looking for talented team member to join our Monitoring Team.

This is an office‑based operational support and safety role based in Epping VIC, and does not involve driving vehicles. The role supports the safe, compliant and efficient operation of our local and interstate fleet through a combination of reporting, compliance management, branch support and driver welfare activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Running and analysing daily and shift‑based reports (day, afternoon and night shifts)

  • Providing operational and after‑hours support to branches, including issue resolution and escalation

  • Deploying, monitoring, troubleshooting and supporting telematics and safety technology systems

  • Managing incident response, follow‑up actions and compliance documentation

  • Monitoring and responding to delays, exceptions and operational issues on the road

  • Supporting driver fatigue management, including welfare checks and follow‑up actions

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a passion for safety and compliance

  • Be familiar with the concepts of Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) and Chain of Responsibility (CoR)

  • Have an eye for detail coupled with writing and reporting skills

  • Ability to work well under pressure

  • Be self-driven and able to manage your own schedule

  • Exceptional time management skills and flexibility

  • Have an understanding of basic Microsoft Office programs

The Monitoring Team works across 3 x shifts a day to ensure 24-hour coverage of our fleet. We operate a roster Monday to Friday, with shifts rotating monthly. 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am. As we are a 24-hour operating team, there will be times you are required to complete additional tasks outside of your key responsibilities.

Weekend work will be required. Weekend work is on call and requires answering fatigue calls and checking for urgent email requests. Weekend on call is shared equally amongst the team.
