Dust Up Projects are the Australia Post contractors, delivering mail and general freight to the east of Gascoyne Junction twice a week (overnight trip). We are a husband and wife team who are ex-bushies, and the people on the mail run are our friends, and we would like our driver to treat them as such. You must have a can do attitude to work for us! Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position and you need to undertake Fit2Work clearance and National Police Clearance through Australia Post.

Qualifications & experience

• Western Australian MR or HR license with at least 12 months driving experience

• Forklift ticket

• High level of customer service

• Be physically fit, neat and tidy

• Demonstrated record keeping

• Knowledge of the Gascoyne region would be handy

• You need to be based in Carnarvon

• We have a no smoking policy in our vehicles

Tasks & responsibilities

• Drive our automatic Hino FG1628 with a custom built chiller/freezer unit and tow a dog trailer as required

• Load and unload general freight and mail - you need to be physically fit as this part can be quite demanding and can involve up to 12 hours of manual labour a week.

• Complete consignment notes and manage phone calls and emails for freight requests

• Maintain vehicle to high standard and complete weekly maintenance schedules

• Provide outstanding service to our customers. You need to be a friendly, cheerful face!
