About the Role
As the face of our business, you will play an important role in delivering outstanding customer service and helping customers access a wide range of Australia Post services.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing excellent customer service at the counter
Processing parcel and mail transactions
Assisting customers with banking and bill payment services
Processing passport applications and identity services
Retail sales and merchandising
Maintaining accuracy when handling cash and customer information
Supporting the day-to-day operation of the Post Office
Essential Requirements
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Reliable, honest and professional attitude
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills
Ability to obtain and provide a National Police Check
Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident and eligible to undertake Australia Post Passport and Electronic Identity Services (EIS) accreditation and training
Highly Regarded
Previous Australia Post or Licensed Post Office experience
Previous experience in retail, banking, government services or customer service roles
Experience handling cash and EFTPOS transactions
