Licensee post office in northern suburbs of Brisbane (North lakes surrounding suburbs) is seeking a customer service officer to join our successful team on a causal basis. Offering essential services to the community as a Licensed Post Office, the business has developed a strong customer base with a reputation for excellence in service and convenience. This exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Post Office counter operator to join our team.

Qualifications & experience

• Previous experience at an LPO or CPO are required

• Enjoy working in a team environment

• You will also be subject to criminal history background checks.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Performing customer sales and service transactions with customers

• Managing high value transactions accurately – which includes handling and processing cash, cheques, credit cards and EFTPOS

• Conducting and processing a number of identity services transactions, including Australian Passport Interview

• POB mail sorting; inbound & outbound mail processing and carded parcel retrievals

• Restocking shelves; merchandising & stock relays

• Shop opens and closes

• Counter and office balances

• General shop upkeep including cleaning
