About the role

Join the Bulleen Post Office team as a casual position Postal Service Officer. The job mainly involves 3-4 Afternoon shifts (12-5pm). Passport accreditation is highly desirable. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and supporting the smooth operation of the busy post office. Located in Bulleen, VIC 3105, this role offers a flexible part-time schedule to suit your lifestyle.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting customers with passports applications, ID checks and postal services such as banking, sending and receiving parcels and letters

• Processing mail and package transactions, including sales of stamps and other postal supplies

• Maintaining a neat and organised workspace to provide an efficient and welcoming environment

• Responding to customer inquiries and providing information about postal products and services

• Restocking shelves and performing basic administrative duties as needed

• Collaborating with the wider team to ensure seamless post office operations

What we're looking for

• Must have previous or current job experience to work as a Postal Service Officer. Passports accreditation is preferable but not essential.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service

• Excellent organizing and time management abilities.

• A friendly, polite and professional manner.

• A keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately
