About the role

Limestone Coast Freight Centre is seeking 2 people. Postie Rider and Delivery Van Driver to join our team on a casual paid basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys delivering parcels and mail to customers across the Bordertown SA 5268 area. In these 2 roles, you will be the face of our organisation, ensuring parcels and mail reach their destinations safely and on time. Whether you're riding a motorcycle or driving a van, you'll be responsible for managing deliveries efficiently whilst maintaining the highest standard of customer service. This position offers flexibility and variety, making it ideal for someone seeking casual work, potentially 15 - 30 hours per week in either Rider or Driver role with our company.

What you'll be doing

1. Collecting and delivering parcels and mail to residential and commercial addresses within the Bordertown region

2. Operating delivery vehicles (motorcycles or vans) safely and in accordance with road regulations and company policies

3. Planning efficient delivery routes to maximise productivity and minimise fuel costs

1. Recording delivery information accurately using modern tracking systems

1. Obtaining customer signatures and handling proof of delivery documentation

1. Maintaining vehicles in clean and working condition, reporting any mechanical issues

1. Providing excellent customer service, handling enquiries and resolving delivery issues professionally

1. Adhering to safety protocols and company procedures at all times

What we're looking for

1. A current, valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle you'll be operating (car or motorcycle)

2. Complete and pass a police check

3. A clean driving record and commitment to road safety

4. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently

5. Excellent customer service skills and a professional, friendly demeanour

6. Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic

7. Basic IT skills and the ability to use tracking and delivery management systems

8. Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry parcels safely

9. Knowledge of the Bordertown area or willingness to learn local routes

10. Previous delivery or driving experience is advantageous but not essential for the right candidate
