This is a leadership role focused on delivering strong safety, service and cost outcomes across delivery operations. As a key point of coordination, you’ll support the Delivery Manager and facility teams by providing clear direction, practical guidance and hands‑on leadership that keeps people and performance moving in the right direction.
You’ll play an active role in driving performance and process improvements, reinforcing safe and inclusive ways of working, and supporting the consistent application of Australia Post’s Diversity and health and safety standards. Where needed, you’ll step in to assist with processing and delivery activities, ensuring service is maintained and teams stay aligned to priorities.
About you
- Hold a current car licence
- Be involved in leading teams to deliver safe, reliable results every day.
- Make timely decisions that protect service and customer trust.
- Communicate clearly and act with sound judgement under pressure.
- Plan, prioritise and keep operations moving through change.
- Comfortable with admin tasks such as entering manifests for Air Mail
- Be capable of handling mail and parcels up to 16kg
