Founded in 2018, Marti is Türkiye’s leading mobility app, offering multiple transportation services to its riders. Marti operates a ride-hailing service that matches riders with car, motorcycle, and taxi drivers, and operates a large fleet of rental e-mopeds, e-bikes, and e-scooters. All of Marti’s offerings are serviced by proprietary software systems and IoT infrastructure.
Marti's vision is that everything on wheels will be electric and everything electric will be shareable. Since 2019, we have experienced significant growth and maintained robust unit economics year-round. Our goal is to expand our urban transportation services, introduce new environmentally sustainable and shared mobility options, and leverage our existing scale and customer base to offer technology-enabled services beyond transportation. Who You Are
- A seasoned marketing executive with 10+ years of experience in high-growth industries such as mobility, technology, consumer platforms, or fast-paced startups.
- A strategic thinker who can translate business objectives into comprehensive, data-driven marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
- A brand architect with a deep understanding of market positioning, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes in the mobility and transportation sectors.
- A digital-first leader with expertise in performance marketing, media planning, and campaign optimization across multiple channels.
- Highly analytical and financially savvy, with the ability to manage large-scale budgets, track ROI, and make data-driven investment decisions.
- Proficient in Excel, with experience in forecasting, budgeting, and optimizing marketing spend for maximum efficiency.
- A strong communicator and storyteller, skilled in building narratives that resonate with diverse audiences across earned, owned, and paid media.
- Adept at leading and developing high-performance marketing teams, fostering innovation, and cultivating a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment where agility, data-driven decision-making, and execution speed are critical.
- Native or fluent in Turkish, with strong English communication skills for collaboration with international partners and stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Leadership & Brand Building
- Define and execute Marti’s marketing vision and strategy, ensuring strong market positioning and brand leadership in Türkiye’s mobility sector.
- Build and maintain a strong, differentiated brand identity, ensuring alignment across all consumer touchpoints.
- Drive thought leadership initiatives that position Marti at the forefront of the industry, leveraging PR, partnerships, and strategic storytelling.
Growth, Acquisition & Retention
- Develop and optimize a comprehensive customer acquisition strategy, leveraging paid media, organic growth channels, partnerships, and referrals.
- Lead performance marketing efforts, ensuring data-driven decision-making and efficient allocation of marketing spend for maximum ROI.
- Oversee media buying and negotiation, ensuring cost-effective placements across digital, traditional, and out-of-home (OOH) channels.
Integrated Marketing & Campaign Execution
- Oversee large-scale, high-impact marketing campaigns across social media, PR, outdoor advertising, experiential events, and sponsorships.
- Spearhead festivals and activations, ensuring Marti’s presence at key cultural and business events.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, data, and operations, to ensure marketing efforts align with business goals and user experience improvements.
Budgeting, Analytics & Performance Optimization
- Own the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across paid, owned, and earned channels.
- Use data and analytics tools to track marketing performance, analyze ROI, and inform strategic decisions.
- Implement advanced analytics, A/B testing, and real-time tracking to measure marketing effectiveness and optimize performance.
- Identify and capitalize on emerging trends, technologies, and consumer behaviors to keep Marti ahead of the curve.
Leadership & Team Development
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Set clear KPIs and performance metrics, ensuring accountability and alignment with company growth objectives.
- Work closely with the executive team to align marketing strategies with broader business objectives and growth plans.
