Role Summary
Specializes in providing assistance to field engineers, technicians, and product support in diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex systems (e.g., electro/mechanical equipment, computer, complex software, or networked and wireless systems).Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot issues on Live production systems with usage of tracing/analysis tools. Should be fully process driven and should show keen interest in SLAs, KPIs and customer success.
- Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering.
- Customer installation and training. Provides support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature.
Job Requirements
- Candidate should be a BE with experience of 6 to 10 years in Mobile telecom Technologies from Operations/deployment domain.
- Should have extensive experience in IMS network products like I/S CSCF, TAS, SBC, IPSMGW, RCS/RMS, HSS.
- Experience on IMS core network and Application Servers is a must.
- Hands-on experience on Virtualized node installation/deployment (VMs). And shld be well versed in Linux hands on.
- Protocol knowhow : SIP, MSRP, Diameter, MAP, HTTP, SOAP, DNS
- Should have Customer production nodes troubleshooting experience.
- Can have experience testing of the products or Solution End to End.
- Should have hands-on experience on Virtualized node installation/deployment (VMs)
- Should have excellent Oral and written communication to handle customers and also to co-ordinate internal across teams and geographies
- Should have experience working on MySQL database queries and should be very comfortable on Linux environment.
- Should have good automation skills like Shell Scripting, Python etc.
- Good understanding of Cloud environment like Openstack, AWS, Azure.
- Good understanding of micro services.
