Role Summary

Job Description: Testing and deployment of 4G and 5G Network nodes. Design and prepare CIQ comprising of Network design, CPU, Memory, and Disk for the 5G RAN customer labs. Integration of 5G network components gNb and RU. Update the Ansible scripts and helm charts to suit customer need for the installation of IaaS, CaaS and PaaS to setup the Kubernetes cluster as foundation bed for 5G Network nodes. Troubleshoot and fix Kubernetes based platform complexities to maintain the Container Attached Services and avoid downtimes in customer premises. Support customer CI/CD activities by hosting images, and configurations to Harbor and Git registries. Mitigate and support customer security scan audits of nodes and pods. Host the openers based Volume services for the Kubernetes Persistent Volume services. Automate integration process. Develop scripts for end to end call testing. 5G RAN Nodes installation, 5G RAN Nodes upgrade and configuration, Support 5G RAN acceptance test, and Troubleshoot and fix platform and RAN application issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • IMS and 5G Network Architecture Protocols and Call Flows
  • Spec ETSI and 3GPP based knowledge on Telecom call flows and Protocols, including NGAP, RRC, XNAP, 5G RAN distributed architecture and split architecture
  • Access Network and hand off to IMS for VoLTE
  • Troubleshooting Site issues, CallTrace, and other relevant tools
  • Python, Shell or equivalent scripting language to design and support Call Flow Testing and debugging
  • Working on any DB application like Mysql, MariaDB, Cassandra DB, CouchBase DB, or NetConf based
  • Accessing repositories like Git, Harbor, or Jfrog.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a directly related field plus three (3) years of experience in operation and management of telecommunications network nodes and testing of IMS network nodes.

Must have two (3) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

  • IMS and 5G Network Architecture Protocols and Call Flows
  • Spec ETSI and 3GPP based knowledge on Telecom call flows and Protocols, including NGAP, RRC, XNAP, 5G RAN distributed architecture and split architecture
  • Access Network and hand off to IMS for VoLTE
  • Troubleshooting Site issues, CallTrace, and other relevant tools
  • Python, Shell or equivalent scripting language to design and support Call Flow Testing and debugging
  • Working on any DB application like Mysql, MariaDB, Cassandra DB, CouchBase DB, or NetConf based

Must have two (2) years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
