Role Summary

Job Description: Develop technical blueprints required to upgrade and implement 5G end to end network. Delegate activities and collaborate with project managers and solution architects to ensure compliance. Design and prepare CIQ comprising Network design, CPU, Memory, and Disk for the 5G Nodes in 5G core customer labs. Update the Ansible scripts and helm charts to suit customer need for the installation of IaaS, CaaS and PaaS to setup the Kubernetes cluster. Troubleshoot and fix Kubernetes based platform complexities to maintain the Container Attached Services and avoid downtimes in customer premises. Support customer CI or CD activities by hosting images, configurations, or registries. Mitigate and support customer security scan audits of nodes and pods. Host the openers-based Volume services for the Kubernetes Persistent Volume services.

Key Responsibilities

- 5G Network Architecture Protocols and Call Flows

- Spec ETSI and 3GPP on Telecom 5G call flows and Protocols

- SS7, SiGTRAN, MAP, SMPP, MM4, and RCS

- Access Network and hand off to IMS for VoLTE

- Troubleshooting Site issues using TRLs, CDRs, and CallTrace

- Python or Shell to design and support

- Call Flow Testing and debugging

- Working on DB applications such as Mysql, MariaDB, Cassandra DB, CouchBase DB, or NetConf

- Accessing repositories including Git, Harbor, Jfrog, HSS , HLR Architecture and call flows

Job Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a directly related field plus five (5) years of experience in operation and management of telecommunication network nodes and testing of IMS and 5G network nodes. Will also accept a master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a directly related field plus two (2) years of experience in operation and management of telecommunication network nodes and testing of IMS and 5G network nodes.

Must have two (2) years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

• 5G Network Architecture Protocols and Call Flows
• Spec ETSI and 3GPP on Telecom 5G call flows and Protocols
• SS7, SiGTRAN, MAP, SMPP, MM4, and RCS
• Access Network and hand off to IMS for VoLTE
• Troubleshooting Site issues using TRLs, CDRs, and CallTrace
