The role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join our close-knit finance team. This role is instrumental in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments, maintaining supplier accounts, and contributing to overall financial operations. You will support the Assistant Financial Accountant and report directly to the Finance Manager.

Your duties as Junior Accountant will be to:

• Ensure all invoices are approved and processed accurately and on time
• Perform daily bank and credit card reconciliations
• Set up and manage weekly and monthly payment runs
• Monitor the accounts payable inbox and manage supplier and internal queries efficiently
• Establish and maintain supplier accounts, including onboarding new suppliers
• Collaborate closely with team members on ad hoc finance tasks and projects

What we need from you:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Proven experience in a similar account payable or finance role
• Strong understanding of fundamental accounting and finance principles
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel (e.g., XLOOKUP, PivotTables)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Positive, proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and a focus on continuous improvement
• Onsite training, 2 days WFH after training period end.

· Experience with NetSuite is highly desirable but not essential
