About the role:

We’re looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager, who will play a pivotal role in driving sustainable business by identifying and pursuing new opportunities within the pharmaceutical industry. Their primary objective is to procure new Health Programs and Information services to achieve revenue targets while maintaining strong client satisfaction and retention.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop and maintain a pipeline of new and renewed business opportunities within pharmaceutical accounts
  • Build and maintain strong client and partner relationships, identifying business needs and aligning solutions to support their objectives
  • Negotiate contracts with favourable terms and conditions while maintaining strong client relationships
  • Develop and implement strategies that drive revenue growth and market expansion
  • Grow knowledge about market trends and competitor activities, strategies and pricing to identify new opportunities/threats and adapt strategy accordingly
  • Work internally with stakeholders to provide insights and value to customers
  • Drive continuous improvement within the position and across all Medadvisor

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Tertiary qualifications Business or Health
  • 3+ years Pharmaceutical Industry experience in sales & marketing
  • 3+ years of experience with business-to-business selling desirable
  • Experience in contract negotiations and documentation
