Overview

We are in search of a driven and ambitious Enterprise Account Executive to spearhead Penguins efforts in the Federal Sector. As a frontline leader for our company, you will focus on developing and expanding business opportunities within federal government agencies, ensuring alignment with their technology needs and strategic goals. Reporting to the VP of Sales – Advanced Computing, the ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of federal procurement processes, HPC, and AI technologies and have a proven track record of driving sales success in a government-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively hunt for enterprise-level business opportunities with federal agencies and partners, collaborating with the existing sales infrastructure to drive pipeline growth
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan tailored to federal markets to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.
  • Schedule and lead impactful business meetings with C-Level executives and prospective enterprise clients to showcase the Penguin Value.
  • Champion our offerings, addressing and predicting enterprise clients' objectives to maximize sales potential.
  • Provide reliable post-sales support and foster long term relationships with new and existing enterprise customers
  • Create and develop executive level relationships at partner companies and with industry leaders
  • Exercise cross-functional leadership within a matrixed organizational structure
  • Stay informed about federal market trends, procurement regulations, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Ensure all sales activities adhere to federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Top Secret Security clearance (or ability to obtain one). TS/SCI is a plus.
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience in the federal market, preferably in HPC, AI, or related technology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of federal procurement processes, including GSA schedules, IDIQ contracts, and other government acquisition vehicles.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with federal agencies and integrators.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence cross-functional teams at all levels
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles and collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Time management and planning skills

Location

This can be a remote position in the United States, but our ideal candidate will be located in Washington D.C., Virginia, or Maryland.

Travel

This role will have an estimated 25-35% travel domestically.

Compensation & Benefits

The total cash compensation range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position in the United States is $225,000 - $300,000; the pay ultimately offered may vary based on business considerations, including location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. There are medical, dental, and vision benefits available. There is a 401k saving plan and other benefits, such as Paid Time Off, Life Insurance, and an Employee Assistance Plan.
