Overview
We are seeking a high performing, self-motivated Executive Administrative Assistant to support the VP, Sales and the global sales team. In this role, you would deliver a high level of service and support while exercising judgment, diplomacy and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information. You must be capable of working effectively on your own and in a team environment. You will interact professionally with all levels of Cree LED employees.
Responsibilities
The primary role of the position entails full support of the VP, Sales. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage a busy calendar, including making appointments and prioritizing the most sensitive matters. This includes working across Cree LED departments, the corporate office, and business units to prioritize meetings and activities.
- Schedule onsite and offsite meetings, prepare meeting notices, reserve appropriate meeting rooms, and arrange for equipment and catering as necessary.
- Domestic and international travel planning for the VP, Sales and other leaders (as needed).
- Expense report preparation using Concur.
- Interface with all levels of staff, management, customers, and consultants.
- Use Microsoft Office tools to prepare presentations for the senior management meetings.
- Manage projects as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proven experience supporting a senior level executive
- Proficient in MS Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint and capable of rapidly learning all related Cree LED applications
- Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred or equivalent experience
- Experience creating documents and presentations
- Strong interpersonal skills and outstanding written & verbal communication skills
- Excellent judgment with a demonstrated ability to balance relationship building with maintaining confidences
- Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple interruptions, and adjust priorities throughout the day
- Ability to prioritize, plan, organize and manage details in a fast-paced environment while exercising sound judgment
- High degree of integrity in working with very confidential and sensitive company and employee information

Compensation & Benefits
The pay range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position in North Carolina is $32.65 - $40.85 per hour; the pay ultimately offered may vary based on business considerations, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. The position is bonus-eligible, and there are medical, dental, and vision benefits available. There is a 401k saving plan and other benefits, such as Paid Time Off, Life Insurance, and an Employee Assistance Plan.
