Responsibilities

  • Achieved sales margin plan based on company’s annual sales operating plan and collaborating with the consumable leader and service team to grow sales volume and market share.
  • Responsible for selling consumable products via telephone, email, or electronic means to customers in assigned territory.
  • Generate prospective customers through cold calling, qualify and follow up with sales leads.
  • Support on developing sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, and providing technical information and explanations.
  • Collaborate with Consumable Sales Leader and Service Team to build customer relationships, drive sales and promote consumable products to maximize revenue.

  • Identify instrument sales and/or service contract opportunities and pass them on to our sales and service teams for follow-up.
  • Fills orders by transferring orders to fulfillment, generating quotations, invoices, and communicating expected delivery dates.
  • Maintain customer contact information on SAP and SFDC (CRM).
  • Run post-sales and post-installation welcome programs to help grow consumables uptake.
  • Support Roll out of Consignment Stock program and monitor success.
  • Maintain and manage local warehouse stock levels and standing orders for key customers.
  • Deal with occasional customs clearance issues and permit applications as needed.
  • Answer customer's technical questions and troubleshoot application issues that might arise.
  • Train customers on the correct use of our consumables where needed.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations when required.


Basic Qualifications

  • Degree in Analytical Chemistry, or related discipline will be important to fulfill this job.
  • Technical sales experience will help in this role.
  • Able to multitask and follow through with customers by organizing well on daily jobs.
  • Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Good persuasion skills and aptitude for communication.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and hands-on SAP will be an added advantage.
  • A team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Position is remote, options to be located in Brisbane, Queensland & Victoria
