  • The job holder is responsible for achieving sales growth, gaining market share and meeting quota in east region of India ,Bangladesh ,Bhutan ,Nepal. Graduate/ Post Graduate in Science /Dairy /Food/Agriculture management from reputed institutes with relevant experience should apply. Experience with Dairy, Food, Animal Feed, Grain, Milling, Oil seed crushing and other Agri-commodity trading industry will be an added advantage. Fluency in English, Hindi, Bangla is desirable.

Main responsibilities

  • Increase sales volumes, achieve, and possibly overachieve the objectives on his/her territory in respect of Perten (A Perkinelmer Company) strategy.
  • Sell the company’s products or services directly to end-users. Develop new accounts and/or expand existing accounts within an established geographic territory, industry or product segment.
  • Identify customer needs and trends and presents Perten products and support services to customers appropriately and effectively and ensure the territory prospect pipeline management.
  • Actively sells the increased value of PerkinElmer products and services ensuring high growth for customer.
  • Facilitate in solving customer problems by assuring cross functional coordination. Provide and maintain account mapping on all accounts and maintains accurate customer and prospect information.
  • Should be strong in communication skills to create close network and connect with customers in the potential market. Represent the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
  • Creates detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process.The candidate should be able to bid in the government process and should have knowledge of Govt. buying procedures in the respected territory.
  • Candidate should be a team player and share best practice with colleagues.
  • Close sales opportunities and regularly updating CRM

Competency Requirements.

  • Customer oriented and Willingness to do frequent travel outstation as per requirement of the business .
  • Minimum Three years in a sales role within abovementioned industry is preferred.
  • One year of prior management experience or demonstrated willingness and ability to learn management basics. Strong intrapersonal skills and Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting. Hardworking, persistent, and dependable and Positive and enthusiastic.
  • Knowledge of Rapid testing methods in food industry like FTIR,FTNIR or other spectrometry based instruments like milk analysers , feed analysers etc .Knowledge in food rheology in flour based industries like bakeries ,flour mills.
  • Experience in process quality monitoring using rapid methods to control the process quality objectives on the food production lines.
  • Understanding of PLC/Scada , Process flow of production area.
  • Ability to do plan and execute demonstration to clients .
