Responsibilities:

• Support the research and development of the next generation AAS, UV-Vis, GC, LC, FT-IR instruments, and related accessories.支持新一代原子吸收光谱，紫外-可见，气相色谱，液相色谱, 傅里叶红外光谱仪器及相关配件的研究和开发。
• Support product lines sustaining within the Product Life Cycle.在产品生命周期内支持产品线。
• Perform feasibility studies, optics 3D modeling, simulation, and new or modified design analysis.执行可行性研究，光学3D建模，仿真和新的或修改的设计分析。
• Conceptualize, model, detail, and document new products, modifications to legacy products, and selection and specification of purchased components.对新产品进行概念化、建模、详细描述和文档化，对遗留产品进行修改，并对购买的组件进行选择和规范。
• Skilled in using CAD tools (Zemax, SolidWorks, ProE, or other tools), generate and maintain product documentation including models, drawings, specifications, bills of material, and change orders.熟练使用CAD工具(Zemax, SolidWorks、ProE等工具)，生成并维护产品文档，包括模型、图纸、规格书、物料清单、变更单等。

Requirements:

• Recognized BS in precision optics/optomechanical engineering/mechanical design with a minimum of 10 years, or MS with a minimum of 8 years of related experience in industry instruments, or medical devices.正规院校精密光学/光学机械工程/机械设计学士学位，至少10年以上，或硕士学位，至少8年以上工业仪器或医疗设备相关经验。
• Experienced in optics engineering, optomechanical system design, and analytical instruments experience desirable.有光学工程、光机械系统设计经验，有分析仪器设计经验者优先考虑。
• Excellent basic knowledge of optical theory, familiar with the optical design process, familiar with optical materials, proficient in optical components and various optical systems, in-depth research and use experience on fiber, monochromator, and grating.具有良好的光学理论基础知识，熟悉光学设计流程，熟悉光学材料，精通光学元件和各种光学系统，对光纤、单色器、光栅有深入的研究和使用经验。
• Experience in machining, sheet metal, castings, and plastic molding manufacturing processes and materials, know Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and experience in tolerance analysis.熟悉机械加工、钣金、铸造、可塑成型制造流程和材料, 对几何尺寸公差(GD&T)有一定的了解和公差分析经验。
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in mechanical, and optic systems.在机械和光学系统方面有很强的分析和故障排除能力。
• Good communication skills & self-motivated.良好的沟通技巧和上进心。
