Purpose
This is a key management position with executive responsibilityand responsible for one of our key manufacturing site. In line with Global Operations and respective BE strategies, this position is responsible for the development and execution of site strategies encompassing profit margin expansion, continuous improvement, site utilization, product quality and organizational development.
Responsibilities
Lead the development of a world class manufacturing organization that embraces continuous improvement initiatives and accountable to deliver to company and customer expectations
Provide leadership to a multi-functional team in line with Corporate, BEs and Functional strategies and core processes (SGS, LOR, PQP and AOP)
Ensure the execution of plans for timely order fulfillment, capacity planning (mini SIOP and Supply Reviews), profitability and productivity improvement, quality improvement and the retention/development of talent
Responsible for capital expenditures and budget recommendations for manufacturing operations
Manage budget execution with a focus on margins and product costs. Has primary management responsibility for all manufacturing and material expenses
Identify opportunities for product and manufacturing rationalization and /or low cost sourcing/outsourcing that enhance manufacturing and business performance
Lead the development of scalable and robust processes for the smooth running of manufacturing operations. Processes should be well documented and controlled
Evaluate the results of manufacturing regularly and communicate with appropriate stakeholders to facilitate effective planning and decision-making
Create a working environment that promotes PerkinElmer Core Values and supports employee growth through communication, training, rewards and recognition
Foster good working relationships with all customers, suppliers and business partners including overall compliance with safety, environment and quality requirements as well as local and international laws
Administer duty as registered leader for site entity and manage the affairs of the company
Responsible for representing the company in public at events or with the press.
Basic Qualifications
Academic Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science
Advanced degree or MBA preferred
Work Experience:
Minimum 12 years of relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 8 years in a managerial capacity and 3 years in leadership role

Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to provide strategic financial guidance to support business goals.
Compliance Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance requirements.
Change Management: Experience in driving process improvements and managing change in a dynamic environment.
Self-starter and team player that will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
Demonstrate strong leadership, team building, direct reports development and motivational attributes to manage organizations through ambiguity and transition
Equipped with the communication skills to drive change, build structure and simplify complex situations
Has sound technical acumen coupled with the manufacturing, interpersonal and hands-on skills for problem-solving through networks and cross functional teams
Experienced in materials management, from planning through purchasing, and negotiation and administration of procurement agreements
Knowledgeable on relevant Quality Management Systems (ISO9000, ISO13485, ISO14001), EH&S compliance (OHSAS 18001), ERP Class A Manufacturing, Trade and Regulatory compliance with the ability to drive quality and productivity initiatives
Experience in Continuous Improvement approaches such as Six Sigma, Lean and total Productive Management (TPM)
Familiarity with corporate law and management best practices
Able to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical publications, financial reports, and legal documents
Good understanding of analytical instrument and medical device manufacturing
