At PerkinElmer, we’re looking for a Senior Service Engineer with a strong background in chromatography who is passionate about supporting cutting-edge laboratory environments in the Basque Country.

What You’ll Do
Perform installations, validations, preventive maintenance, and repairs on sophisticated analytical instrumentation, ensuring top-tier quality and compliance.
Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their workflows and offering tailored solutions, training, and technical support.
Identify and develop revenue opportunities (billable services, consumables, upgrades).
Ensure proper maintenance of tools, spare parts, and company equipment.
Play an active role in enhancing product quality through proactive feedback and quality notifications.
Continuously develop your skills via company-sponsored training and certification programs.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
What We’re Looking For
Experienced professional in chromatography service – someone who knows their way around GC, HPLC, or LC/MS systems.
Exceptional problem-solving mindset, detail-oriented with a passion for precision.
Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
Hands-on technical knowledge and the ability to work independently on complex instrumentation.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools and digital reporting platforms.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s or Associate Degree (or military equivalent) in Science, Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
3–5+ years of experience in servicing laboratory equipment.
A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel frequently (up to 50%) within your territory.
Legal right to work in the EU.
Nice to have:
Certifications on relevant lab instruments.
Familiarity with instrument control software and laboratory safety procedures.
