Job Purpose: To ensure all laboratory assets across R&D Sites are correctly recorded and tracked in inventory databases to enable the organization to show due diligence in financial and regulatory compliance audits.
Core Job Duties:
- Updates EAM and SAP records to ensure complete and accurate visibility to instrument delivery and installation data.
- Assist with maintaining the fixed assets register for lab assets and ensuring that all capital tagging forms are correctly completed in a timely manner. Including onboarding and offboarding
- Assist with the onboarding of all qualifying capital equipment and record onto relevant inventory databases
- Ensure asset tags are applied correctly in a timely manner
- Assisting with inventory Scanning Audits and cycle counts and updating the fixed asset register and inventory databases with relevant changes
- Responsible for the administration of inventory databases insuring the update and closure of work orders to meet agreed contractual metrics
- Add Remove Changes in OneSource Database- Data Creation
- Add assets to database including purchasing information
- Change Assets – updating or correcting asset data
- Remove assets that are no longer in use
- Works with the compliance team to ensure all third party contractors are approved for scope of work during asset registration and work order management follows client compliance guidelines
- Provides proactive and regular updates to the customer
- Ensure that all compliant documentation is stored according to GxP protocol.
- Assist client and PerkinElmer audit preparation in finance and inventory
- Consult with Lab Instrument Support, customer service, procurement, the contracts teams, and Finance to ensure all requests are progressed to completion
- Supports the onboarding process and installation of Client purchased instruments with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) at local and remote Client sites
- Collaborate with Client Capital Asset Coordinators to ensure accurate instrument tagging.
- Coordinates the removal as well as transfer of assets to and from Client sites.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- College degree or combination of education and equivalent work experience.
- Ability to communicate status of projects clearly and concisely in verbal and written formats.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Data reporting and asset tracking experience
- Ability to communicate status of work clearly and concisely in verbal and written formats
- Service delivery and/or Operations industry experience
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency in use of inventory systems such as SAP & EAM
- General knowledge of lab instruments needed.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
Work Conditions:
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move inside and outside labs
- Specific vision abilities required by this position include, without limitation, the ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the instrument), distance vision, color vision, peripheral
- This position is based in Collegeville and King of Prussia PA. Individual should expect very minimal travel.

The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $55,000 to $60,000. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
