Basic Qualifications:

• ​​Bachelor’s degree in applied science, biology, chemistry, mathematics, engineering, information technology,electronicsor related discipline includingmilitaryexperience. Business or management degree also meets criteriaplus minimum of 2 years of experience inlaboratory operations, lab services, scientific support services or related operational environments and 1+ years of leadership experience, including managing supervisors or managers.​OR

• ​​Minimum 5 years of experience in laboratory operations, lab services, scientific support services or related operationalenvironmentsand 3+ years of leadership experience, including managing supervisors or managers.​

Preferred Qualifications:

• ​​7+ years of experience ina laboratoryoperations, lab services, or scientific support environments.

• ​Experience leading a large operational team (30+) in a complex or multi-site environment.

• ​Experience supporting research, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences laboratories.

• ​Familiarity with EHS, lab safety compliance, and laboratory operations standards.

• ​Experience working directly with scientists or R&D organizations to support lab readiness and productivity.

• ​Demonstrated success leading process improvement or operational excellence initiatives.​

Working Environment:

• Must be able to work in a laboratory, controlledenvironmentsrequiring personal protective equipment (e.g., lab coat, safety glasses, etc.) inlaboratory.

• Job pace may befastand job completion demands may be high.

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position more than 25% of the time

• The person needs to occasionally move between labs, corridors, adjoining rooms, and buildings onsite Frequentlyoperateon instruments, objects,toolsor controls, which will require regularly bending, squatting,stretchingand reachingin order toperform in a service function.

• Occasionally move orlift upto 25 pounds (potential for occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds).

• Specific vision abilities required by this position include without limitation, the ability toobservedetails at close range distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focusin order toperform the essential service functions of this position.

• Occasionallyoperatesa computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.

• Employeemaybe requiredto handle hazardous waste according to local, state, and federal regulations. Duties may includeidentifying, handling, generating, accumulating,storingand labeling hazardous waste.

• Potential risk to lab-based hazards including but not limited to extreme temperature, biological materials,andhazardous chemicals.

• May berequiredto complete Medical Clearance, Respiratory Protection Training, and Fit Testing to wear a respirator as protection againsthazardspresent in the laboratory environment.

The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $75,000 to $90,000. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
