Join our dynamic team to support the Sales Organization in achieving sales objectives for our innovative product portfolio. In this role, you will leverage your technical and application expertise to support the sales process from opportunity qualification through deal closure.
Candidates must have at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Material Characterization Analytical Instruments (UV, IR, Thermal Analysis). Previous field-based experience is preferred; however, experienced laboratory analysts with strong technical expertise in these methods who are seeking a career transition will also be considered.
Territory: Throughout the country and occasional international travel.
Preferred location: Milan or surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver High-Impact Demos & Analysis: Collaborate with the Sales Team Leader and Account Managers to plan and execute compelling MatChar demos and sample analyses.
Sales Support: Assist Sales Professionals in understanding customer needs, highlighting our unique value proposition, overcoming objections, and closing deals.
Set Standards: Work with Product and Application Leaders to establish demonstration standards, sales training protocols, and presentation materials.
Train & Develop: Conduct training sessions for Sales Reps and third-party Agents, enhancing their ability to drive independent sales.
Market Insight: Provide competitive intelligence and market analysis to the European Product Leader.
Content Development: Partner with customers to create marketing collateral that enhances win rates and expands opportunities.
Technical Support: Ensure quotes and configurations meet customer needs and align with instrument specifications.
Service Training: Assist Service partners in developing training materials and achieving independence in high-level customer training.
Manage Inventory: Oversee demo inventory for specified product lines, ensuring optimal conditions and availability.
Build References: Generate and maintain a strong list of customer references.
Education and Experience:
Degree: Bachelor's degree in science
Experience:2-3 years of hands-on experience in Material Characterization Analytical Instruments (UV, IR, Thermal Analysis).
Customer Solutions: Skilled in defining and promoting value-added solutions.
Relationship Building: Proven ability to build strong relationships.
Team Collaboration: Effective team player.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Travel: Willingness to travel.
English Proficiency: Fluent in English.
CRM: Previous experience with CRM (i.e., SFDC)
50% travelling; home office setup required.
