The Subscription Manager (SM) at PTC is pivotal in driving the growth and retention of annual recurring revenue (ARR) within the Subscription Management Sales Organization. Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, they ensure revenue targets are met while maintaining strong customer relationships and promoting PTC’s vision across the ecosystem.
In this exciting role, you will be part of the Subscription Management Team which falls under the Customer Success organization. You will work directly with customers and partners and collaborate with the entire PTC ecosystem to secure on time renewals and ARR. Day-To-Day:
- Work on a daily and weekly basis in a highly structured fashion to achieve and maintain industry leading renewal rates with customers and partners
- Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual targets
- Accurate forecasting and daily updating in the Clari, Salesforce and all PTC systems
- Manage all Renewal related customer/partner queries in a timely manner with the right level of quality
- Ability to identify and communicate risk to ensure stable forecasting.
- Building and maintaining relationships with PTC Go to Market (GTM) teammates and other members of the PTC ecosystem to ensure a successful renewal.
- Reviewing Renewal quotes for accuracy before submitting to customers/partners
- Supporting the transition process of our customers to Subscription or Cloud from Perpetual licenses
- Leveraging the PTC ecosystem to ensure optimal levels of satisfaction for PTC customers/partners throughout the entire renewal journey.
- Building relationships with customers and partners
- Oversee partner management and deliver the required support to meet the annual renewal rate goals.

- Sense of Accuracy: ensure pricing, quotes and system entries are correct
Deliver a well-aligned offer to the customer in comparison with agreement in the past.
- Sense of Urgency: handle pressure at quarter end and support quick turnaround times for requests
- Strong negotiation and collaboration skills must be demonstrated
- Excellent problem-solving skills, you bring a “can-do” attitude to work every day
- You take ownership, involve the right stakeholders when appropriate and are comfortable dealing with a level of ambiguity
- You leverage your experience to contribute to the continual commercial and process improvement initiatives we run
Preferred Experience:
- Successful record of accomplishment in a customer / partner facing quota carrying role
- Experience in Renewals, Sales, Inside Sales in a Perpetual, Subscription or SaaS technology environment
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in Japanese are mandatory.
- Ability to converse and write in basic English is good
