Your Team:

Global Accounting Operations (GAO) is responsible for the general ledger accounting of PTC, the hub where all financial information is coming together from various sources and compiled for the internal and external financial reporting and compliance. Our goal us to deliver value-add word class services to our customers in a global dynamic ecosystem.

In EMEA, GAO operates with teams in Bucharest and Munich to ensure accurate and timely general ledger accounting.

This position will collaborate closely with our Global Tax Team and will focus on corporation tax compliance, design, structure and implementation of intercompany agreements in day-to-day operations for PTC’s international operations as well as computation of taxes in our regular corporate financial reporting.

Your Impact:

In this new role you will be responsible for the coordination and maintenance of the computation of tax provisions, to support other questions corporation tax compliance and filings and to drive and evolve the framework for the computation, execution and documentation of intercompany activities of PTC’s international operations.

Your Day-To-Day:

• Coordinate and drive the preparation of tax provisions and deferred taxes for group and statutory reporting
• Drive preparation of documents and information to external advisors for annual corporation tax audits
• Hands-on computation of ongoing and final annual intercompany transactions for services exchanged between international legal entities
• Compiling and documenting relevant information to support the recurring preparation of transfer price documentation
• Support of tax audits in supported legal entities
• Improve existing procedures, checklists and frameworks to evolve current practices for higher efficiency and effective use of systems and technology

Your Skills and Knowledge:

• Degree in Accounting/Tax or related field required, Master’s level or equivalent education preferred with at least 4 years of relevant accounting or public accounting experience
• Enjoying working on hands-on activities and the continuous development of the underlying frameworks with a variety of stakeholders
• Knowledge in transfer prices and corporate taxes is a plus
• Experience in international environment
• Experience in financial reporting systems, business intelligence and office solutions, preferably Oracle and Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail and analytical approach; open minded, flexible, proactive & interactive attitude
• Enjoying working in an international team and across organizational boundaries
• Fluent English is mandatory – another European language is a plus.
