We wish to recruit a Channel Conversion Specialist to work with our Channel Partners to convert their customers from a Perpetual license model to a Subscription/SaaS license model in Japan and to also be a Subject Matter Expert across our APAC business. As a member of our collaborative APAC Subscription Management team, you will play a key role in transforming how our customers engage with our solutions.
Your responsibilities: -
- Drive the Subscription Conversion Program in Japan for customers on Perpetual Support contracts across the Channel segment.
- Meet and exceed revenue targets by supporting partners in converting existing Support customers to subscription-based models.
- Accurate forecasting and daily updating in the PTC CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software Salesforce
- Weekly forecast calls to update your management on progress versus the quarterly conversion targets
- Review quotes for accuracy before they submitting to partners
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Sales, Operations, and Marketing—to drive conversion success.
- Build and nurture relationships with existing partners to identify and unlock conversion opportunities
- Own the full sales cycle—from opportunity identification and Salesforce pipeline management to deal closure
- Develop a deep understanding of customer workflows and business needs to empower partners in effectively positioning the value of Subscriptions and driving Conversions
- Continuously provide insights and feedback to refine and optimize the Subscription Conversion process
- Collaborate with Subscription Managers, Partners, and Conversion Specialists to develop a strategic partner conversion roadmap aimed at transitioning customers to Subscriptions

- Accurate daily updating of our forecasting system comes naturally to you
- You have a high sense of accuracy – ensure pricing, quotes & system entries are correct
- Sense of urgency – handle pressure well at quarter end and manage quick turn-around times for requests from partners etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills – you bring a “can-do” attitude to work each day and take ownership, involving the right stakeholders as needed
- A flexible and adaptable mindset, with the confidence to work through ambiguity
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working toward defined sales targets
- Excellent planning, time management, and multitasking capabilities
- You leverage your experience and learning to contribute to the continual commercial and process improvements we run
- Strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a customer-centric approach.
- 6+ years of experience in Renewals/Sales-related roles within the IT/software industry and working with software partners/resellers in a B2B environment
- Fluent English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
Preferred Experience:
- Successful record of accomplishment in a customer / partner facing quota carrying role
- Experience in Renewals – Direct and/or Channel, Sales, Inside Sales in a Perpetual, Subscription or SaaS technology environment
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in Japanese are mandatory.
- Ability to converse and write in basic English is necessary but not required
