Q1Media is looking for a hardworking, ambitious, self-starter with a minimum of 1 year in a BDR, SDR or B2B Sales role or equivalent work experience. Business Development is a relatively new and high-impact function at Q1Media, meaning you'll have the opportunity to help shape strategy, test new outreach approaches, and directly influence our growth trajectory. Details

  • Position: Business Development Representative (BDR) Fulltime
  • Location: Austin, TX (must be located in Austin)
  • Hours: 9am-6pm (flexible)
  • Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience, potential bonuses and incentives, medical and dental benefits (no qualifying period), 401k

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting (cold calling, emails, social media) to engage and qualify leads
  • Partner closely with your BDM, AEs, and Sales Training to build and execute strategic outreach campaigns
  • Book discovery meetings and demos for Account Executives to further assess a prospect's business and potential for partnership with Q1Media
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity KPIs and SQL meeting goals
  • Become well versed in our industry-leading products and services across video, mobile, display, search & social, and streaming advertising
  • Embrace a growth mindset and be open to feedback, coaching, and iteration
  • Collaborate with your fellow colleagues to drive success through teamwork
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • 1+ year experience in BDR, SDR or B2B outbound sales role
  • Proven ability to prospect and successfully cold call into businesses
  • Self-starter with a drive to learn, grow, and win
  • Results-oriented problem solver - you take initiative and improve through iteration
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable multitasking, managing time, and prioritizing fast-paced workflows
  • Strong interpersonal skills - you naturally build rapport and relationships
  • Curious, coachable, resilient, and adaptable
  • Ability to align Q1Media's offerings to customer pain points and goals
  • Desired but not Required: Familiarity with CRMs and sales enablement tools (such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, MailShake, Seamless.ai, and Salesloft); experience leveraging AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude.ai, etc) for prospecting; creativity in outreach; background in digital marketing or ad tech sales
