Be part of the QinetiQ journey. Join us as a Facility Planner - Project Scheduler at our Eskmeals site in Cumbri,a where you will will be responsible for the delivery of planning and scheduling support across all projects and programmes at Eskmeals.
Role Purpose
As a Facility Planner - Project Scheduler you will have a role that is out of the ordinary. Day-to-day you'll:
- Maintain project schedules and keep project resources on-track, submitting regular project updates to projects/trials into a master schedule (Athena).
- Work with Integrated Delivery Teams (IDTs) for scheduling and project control support.
- Develop and report project schedule data to senior site stakeholders and project managers.
- Work with site to manage the EpicFlow resourcing tool such that all activities are adequately resourced.
This role is full-time, 37 hours per week, based at MOD Eskmeals with the possiblity of flexible working.
Essential experience of the Facility Planner
- Experience of operating as a project or programme scheduler preferred.
- Working knowledge of programme management principles and how project palling, scheduling and control activities underpin them.
- Knowledgeable of the development and delivery of project schedules.
- Knowledgeable on a number of technical areas, such as project controls, governance and assurance, risk analysis and management.
- Development, introduction and implementation of project schedule analytics.
- Experience in using resourcing software such as EpicFlow.
- Able to engage, report and challenge at senior stakeholder level.
Qualifications for the Facility Planner
Relevant certifications in Project Scheduling or equivalent are desirable but not essential. We value difference and we don’t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience then we would like to hear from you.
