This position would suit a talented Multi-Trade Engineer who has a varied range of skills and experience and is looking for a diverse role.

The role
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will have a role that is out of the ordinary, delivering of maintenance across all aspects of building services, you will have strong knowledge of building systems across all disciplines, with a key competency in either Electrical or Mechanical maintenance. You will also be expected to support some of our other local sites when needed, gaining more experience and development.

Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for all mobile call outs for pre-planned and reactive maintenance tasks and objectives. You will be mostly supporting infrastructure, but other needs in our Gosport site will vary. Below are some more Responsibilities:

• Provide maintenance support (including installations; planned, preventive & corrective maintenance) in relation to site services, plant / equipment & buildings
• being responsible and reliable for all mobile maintenance call outs including other local sites
• See that all Health & Safety requirements are met for individual sites
• Being able to think on your feet, as all call outs vary so must be ready to come with a solution

This position is full time, 37-hours per week; working hours are 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday – Thursday with a 12pm finish on a Friday. You'll be based at PTP but you will also be required to provide support acrossour other local sites, as and when required.

Essential experience of the Facilities Maintenance Technician

• Experience of working in a maintenance / business services capacity
• Multi-trade experience including Plumbing or Carpentry is highly desirable
• Qualifications for the Facilities Maintenance Technician
