The role:

Located on the UK MOD Hebrides Range on South Uist, which delivers Weapons and Platform Training, Test and Evaluation Trials for the UK & International defence market. We are looking to appoint a Services & Maintenance Coordination Assistant providing direct support to a team of Multi-skilled Estates Maintenance personnel across all 4 sub sites that make up the Hebrides Range, including St Kilda.

As the IT Administrator, you will ensure that facilities maintenance tasks are assigned, and subsequently reconciled for auditing requirements. You will also assist the Soft Services Operational Lead to ensure effective operation of the Cleaning, Catering and Accommodation contract and associated facilities.

Day-to-day, you will be:

• Providing planning support to the Property Operational Leads enabling effective facilitation and co-ordination of third party contractors coming to site, including but not limited to – contractor tasking, contractor induction, and gathering of records necessary for Health & Safety inductions
• Regularly liaising with the Soft Services Operational Lead to plan availability of the Accommodation estate (West Camp) ensuring internal estates maintenance and 3rd party soft services supplier resource priorities align to meet the business demands. When necessary acting in the capacity of Deputy
• Supporting the site’s delivery of the maintenance budget through prioritising work, reconciling demands, supporting the team with purchasing procedures ensuring auditable records maintained
• Act as deputy for the Site Waste Coordinator, ensuring records associated are maintained to Industry Standards

There will be homeworking opportunities however; this will vary depending on current tasks that need to be completed on site.

Essential experience of the IT Administrator:

• The successful candidate will ideally have a strong IT skill set
• The IT Administrator must have good experience using Microsoft Excel
