The Role
As a Receptionist, you will have a role that is out of the ordinary. You will be undertaking reception duties at our QinetiQ Portsdown Technology Park, presenting a positive image of QinetiQ and ensuring that processes and procedures are followed.

Day-to-day, you will:

• Work and collaborate with another receptionist to manage telephone calls, administer complex visitor bookings and book individuals onto site.
• Provide reception service and assist internal and external customers.
• Maintain a range of records, enter, collate and organise data using standard methods.
• Manage telephone calls and utilise voicemails accurately capturing and relaying back messages.
• Send and receive mail or goods using standard security and safety procedures.

This role is a full-time position based at our Portsdown Technology Park site and is fully on-site.

Essential experience of the Receptionist:

• Demonstrable experience in a customer facing role.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Proven willingness to learn.

Qualifications for the Receptionist:

• NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration, Customer Service or equivalent demonstrable experience.
