The Role
As a Cleaning supervisor you will have a role that is out of the ordinary, delivering a vital cleaning schedule / specification on a daily basis and responding to specific needs, as required, working at our Ministry of Defence (MoD) military aircraft testing site which hosts two operational runways.

Day-to-day, you will:

• Be responsible for the cleanliness and hygiene standards across the facility
• Plan and schedule the cleaning programme to meet site requirements
• Monitor and review delivery performance
• Assist team members if they need assistance with mandatory training or any activities that are PC based
• Monitor cleaning material stocks, sourcing environmentally friendly products and ordering replenishments whilst maintaining an up to date COSHH register and index
• Ensure all appropriate Risk Assessments are in place for all activities

Working arrangements are full-time, based on-site at Boscombe Down, from 08:00 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 to 15:30 on a Friday.

Essential experience of the Cleaning Supervisor:

• Previous experience within cleaning or housekeeping
• Physically fit due to manual nature of the role
• Strong supervisory/management skills
• Experience of communicating with stakeholders
• Risk awareness: including Manual Handling appreciation & hazardous substances / safety data sheet management

Qualifications for the Cleaning Supervisor:
