Electronics Technician – Integrated Engineering Services

Are you an experienced Electronics Technician looking for a role where no two days are the same? If so, we want you to join our Integrated Engineering Services team in Port Melbourne!

From intricate PCB population to diagnosing legacy electronic equipment, your skills will be challenged and expanded every day. Working alongside skilled engineers, project managers, and clients, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, mission-critical projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assemble and troubleshoot complex electronic systems, including PCB population and rework.

  • Manufacture and integrate wiring harnesses, control enclosures, and custom electronic components.

  • Diagnose and repair legacy electronic equipment, ensuring continued operational reliability.

  • Work closely with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver quality solutions on time.

  • Lead and mentor junior technicians, conduct peer reviews, and ensure quality control.

What You Bring to the Team

Your expertise in PCB population and cabling manufacture will be highly valued, as these skills are critical to our innovative projects.

We’re looking for a self-starter with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

You’ll need:

  • Certificate III in Electronics and Communications (or equivalent)

  • IPC Certifications (or willingness to obtain):

    • IPC-610 – Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies

    • IPC-7711/7721 – Rework, Modification, and Repair of Electronic Assemblies

    • IPC-620 – Requirements & Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders at all levels

  • Integrity, professionalism, and high ethical standards

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
