🛠️ What You’ll Do

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting engineering change requests and managing Change Orders
• Assisting with design and manufacturing improvements
• Creating and maintaining production work instructions and test procedures
• Reviewing technical drawings and documentation for manufacturability
• Collaborating with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues
• Supporting prototype-to-production transitions (drawings, BOMs, tooling)
• Contributing to safety improvements and LEAN initiatives
• Delivering training materials to ensure team readiness

🎓 What You Bring

• Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering Technology (Design & Drafting knowledge preferred)
• 1–4 years of experience in a design or manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in MS Office and 3D modelling software (Autodesk Inventor preferred)
• Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
• A collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn

Bonus if you have:

• Eligibility for ASET (C.E.T.) or APEGA (E.I.T.)
• Experience with GD&T, technical writing, or project/configuration management
• Familiarity with MS Project Online

🔐 Security & Safety Requirements

• Must be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident
• Eligible for Canadian Class 2 Security Clearance including background check
• Comfortable working in a safety-sensitive environment (production floor, testing, deployments)
• Able to lift up to 23 lbs and occasionally travel off-site
