Summary:
The Business Change Manager will fulfill the role of a Business Relationship Manager and will need to support in the planning change programmes, identify and engage with stakeholders to be affected by change, prepare businesses to embrace change, manage change risks and help evaluate change impact to ensure intended benefits are achieved. This will mean supporting embedding change across industry stakeholders. The Business Change Manager will lead stakeholder engagement, coordinate annual reviews of processes, and support the delivery of strategic change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as liaison between industry stakeholders and Home Office/DFT to facilitate clear communication, collaboration, and policy alignment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry representatives, professional bodies, and regulatory authorities.
- Lead annual reviews of key business processes with industry stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency.
- Translate strategic objectives and policy changes into practical business processes and operational outcomes.
- Support the design, planning, and implementation of business change initiatives, ensuring minimal disruption to industry operations.
- Facilitate workshops, consultations, and feedback sessions to ensure stakeholder input is considered in decision-making.
- Monitor, track, and report on the progress and impact of change initiatives, ensuring objectives are met and benefits are realized.
- Provide advice and guidance to leadership teams on change management strategies, stakeholder engagement, and industry best practice.
- Identify potential risks, resistance, and barriers to change, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Provide advice and guidance on the impact of policy, regulatory and legislative changes which will affect the industry.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure compliance with UK GDPR and oversee the development and implementation of data sharing agreements and MoUs between relevant parties.
- Support the development of business cases and delivery plans by defining value propositions, identifying measurable benefits, and establishing clear KPIs to support decision making and track benefits.
Entry Criteria
Essential Skills:
- Experience in delivering large-scale change in a complex environment
- Experience delivering change in line with agile methodologies
- Experience of delivering technology change
- Excellent planning, communication,time management and presentation skills
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Professional approach, coupled with strong interpersonal skills
Desirable:
- Recognised relevant professional certification (e.g. APMG Change Management, Prosci, etc)
- Experience managing change in both the public and private sectors
- Knowledge of Business Analysis techniques
- Knowledge of User Research techniques
- Knowledge of User Experience Design techniques
Pay and benefits:
Naimuri pays competitively within the industry based on your role's base location rates. The salary for this position is dependent upon your experience. We assess seniority relative to the team at Naimuri during the interviewing process.
A full time working week is 37.5 hours and you have flexibility over when you give that time. We also offer part-time working which can be discussed during the recruitment process.
Our core hours are 10:00am - 3:00pm and our office hours are between 7:30 and 18:00 Monday to Friday. Our teams have agreed ‘in office’ days to enable collaboration in our Manchester office, and you may also be required to attend a customer site (Manchester) or on occasion to travel to our client office in London.
