THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior SIEM Engineer to join our innovative team at Inzpire LTD.

Leveraging your deep expertise in SIEM, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams for fault resolution and to support product design, ensuring that solutions meet the highest standards of performance, reliability and security.

As a Level 4 SIEM Engineer you will be working as part of a small multi-skilled engineering team supporting the delivery of a secure mission critical Communication Information System. You will be based onsite at RAF Leeming Mon-Fri 8-5 as well as providing out of hours support as part of an on-call rota.

THE PERSON

Essential

  • Significant hands-on experience in SIEM engineering, with a focus on large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk (preferred), LogRhythm, AlienVault or MS System Centre is essential.
  • Proven experience with telemetry collection, including Open Telemetry and Telegraf.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. GCFA, GCIH, GNFA, GCFE or similar).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python, Perl).
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proven track record of troubleshooting complex issues in a timely manner.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to share knowledge and contribute to a positive team environment.

Due to the nature of elements of the role, the successful applicant must be a UK National and may be required to successfully complete National Security Vetting which may require criminal record, security service and credit reference checks; qualification will also normally require a minimum UK residency of at least 5 years.
