We are currently accepting applications for a Senior Consultant – Test & Evaluation to join our GWEO Services team based in Canberra.

The Test and Evaluation Consultant is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all test and evaluation activities to ensure systems, platforms, and capabilities meet operational requirements and performance standards. The role ensures compliance with relevant policies, standards, and safety regulations while delivering timely and accurate test results to support decision-making.

The Senior Consultant – Test & Evaluation will be accountable for:

  • Test planning and Strategy
  • Developing and maintaining the test and evaluation master plan (TEMP)
  • Defining test objectives, scope and success criteria aligned with capability requirements and functional performance specifications
  • Liaising with test teams and testing agencies
  • Coordinating test schedules, resources and facilities to meet project timelines
  • Overseeing the conduct of trials, experiments and evaluations in accordance with approved plans
  • Ensuring adherence to safety, security and quality assurance standards during testing
  • Data Analysis and reporting
  • Liaising with project managers, engineering teams and end-users to ensure test activities align with requirements

As a suitably experienced and well- rounded test & evaluation professional, the Senior Consultant – Test & Evaluation will have:

  • Degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in managing complex test and evaluation programs and
    Familiarity with Defence acquisition processes and standards
  • Strong knowledge of test and evaluation methodologies and standards
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capability with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be eligible for Australian Defence security clearance. Current security clearance is advantageous.
