Our Medicine Hat site plays a key role in delivering advanced uncrewed vehicle systems (UVS) and supporting global defence operations.

🧭 What You’ll Do

• • Use specialized software to create/update technical publications (such as manuals, training courses, engineering change control documents, etc.) **Adobe Framemaker**
  • Training and mentoring junior staff.
  • Recommend changes to department procedures, work instruction, and standards.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Review (for inconsistencies/errors) of technical publications and change control documentation.
  • Evaluate existing processes and workflows to identify areas that could benefit from changes and improvement.
  • Ensure tasks are completed on time and within the specified budget.
  • Additional tasks as assigned.

🎓 What You Bring

• • Post-Secondary Engineering related certificate or higher from a recognized institution.
  • 1-year minimum experience in field.
  • Proficiency with Technical Writing (Frameworker experience is a large asset).
  • Computer proficiency (Document Management Software, MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Project Management knowledge is an asset.
  • Exposure to engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge of integration processes (general assembly, tooling, order of operations).
  • Aptitude in Drafting software (Autodesk Inventor experience is an asset).
  • Aptitude in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

🔐 Security & Safety Requirements

• • Must be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada.
  • Able to obtain a Canadian Class 2 Security clearance.
  • Must have a clean background history and obtain criminal record check
