Rocking Horse Group - R&D Advance Funding is a business that supports SMEs in Australia by providing financing against their eligible R&D schedule. They leverage the Federal Government's R&D Tax Incentive scheme to provide funding in advance of the tax refund. This allows companies to access cash flows faster than the traditional R&D tax incentive scheme, which can take up to 15 months for a rebate to be provided.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Senior Loan Manager to handle the day-to-day tasks associated with managing loans and portfolios, ensuring excellent customer service and financial performance. You will implement the credit policies of the company and credit risk management objectives through activities such as reviews and monitoring, credit/ transactions analysis.

This role is fully remote, however you will be required to meet regularly in person so will need to be based in Sydney.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review credit applications.
• Review and recommend changes of credit lines for clients based on utilization and change of risk profiles.
• Review customer portfolio based on financial or non-financial updates.
• Monitor the implementation of credit policies in line with the risk appetite.
• Collect and analyse industry information to support business development.
• Analyse characteristics of credit risk arising from any new products or new business.
• Conduct credit risk monitoring independently and report to the CFO / Head of Risk Management in relation to any material and unusual matter or underperforming assets.
• Other ad hoc works arranged by CEO / CFO / Head if Risk Management.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES

• Credit management background with 4 - 5 years’ experience in a banking or finance environment
• Team management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Tertiary qualified in finance / business or similar discipline.
• High attention to detail, strong teamwork, efficiency & personal time management abilities.
